Important Warning!
Beware of bogus buyers that may ask you to transfer registration to them prior to making payment. We strongly recommend
that you never transfer registration or ownership of your vehicle until you have received cleared funds for the full
agreed sale price. A typical such scam is where a bogus buyer will say that a company owed him a sum of money and he has
asked this company to send the cheque to the advertiser who is supposed to deduct their sale price and send him a cheque
for the balance. This is likey to be a scam and should be avoided.
Also, there is another scam where an advertiser may be contacted to exports their vehicle, typically to Benin Republic.
It has been reported to PlanetCmapers.com that this is not genuine, and thereofre we recomnmend that you ignore such approaches.
